OREAS C26f is a basalt blank chip certified reference material (CRM) with a nominal particle size of minus 8mm to simulate RC drill chip samples. The CRM was prepared from olivine tholeiitic basalt from the Quaternary Newer Volcanics Province in Victoria, Australia. It is characterised by very low background gold of less than 2 parts per billion.
Fifteen commercial analytical laboratories participated in the program to characterise full ICP-OES and MS elemental suites by 4-acid digestion and Au by fire assay.
OREAS C26f is available in 500g bags, 20kg plastic buckets and 200kg drums.
